BRL-K777 2024 published for criticism
Effective August 07, 2024 the revied BRL-K777 is published for review and comments.
BRL-K777 contains the requirements for a product certificate for "Repair clamps and repair couplings”.
This new BRL includes:
- Product requirements for repair clamps and repair couplings;
- Requirements for suitability for contact with drinking water;
- References to ensure this BRL aligns with accreditation requirements according to BS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012.
Submission of criticism
The Board of Experts (CWK) allows a review period of 6 weeks from the date of this publication for comments. Interested parties are invited to submit their feedback on this draft evaluation guideline within the specified period via the comment form attached and send it by email to the contact person listed below.

Evaluation guideline changes
An evaluation guideline or ‘Beoordelingsrichtlijn’ (BRL) is a package of requirements that a product or service can meet to demonstrate a certain guarantee of quality and legality. Kiwa offers BRLs in various subject areas. The requirements in a BRL are drawn up by an independent Board of Experts. A product or service is assessed by Kiwa on the basis of those requirements. When we introduce a new BRL or when a BRL changes, we will publish these BRL's.
