Freelance healthcare professionals increasingly face various regulations within their field, often resulting in additional administrative work. MijnKeurmerk is designed, based on legislation, quality, and entrepreneurship, to enable freelancers to add evidence to their digital dossier, demonstrating compliance with specific requirements.
Mijn Keurmerk is part of Kiwa and is a quality registration intended for Independent Entrepreneurs in Healthcare. Originally, the quality mark was developed in 2009 to provide self-employed entrepreneurs in the care sector with a quality mark based on evidence, which they could then use to demonstrate to third parties that they had been tested on aspects related to entrepreneurship.
In the field of entrepreneurship, Mijn Keurmerk also takes entrepreneurship itself into account. It is ultimately up to the self-employed person to take into account tax-related rules in order to also benefit from financial benefits for self-employed persons. If you do not comply with these rules, you remain a self-employed person. In my Quality Mark there are certainly also requirements that have to do with entrepreneurship. An extensive contract with the client is a good example of this. But a valid liability insurance has also been mandatory for years and, as with many companies, the satisfaction of the clients must be tested annually.
The assessment of the self-employed is a continuous process at Mijn Keurmerk. At least once a year, the complete file of the self-employed person is checked and, with regard to the burden of proof whose date of validity differs per self-employed person, monthly checks are held to ensure that the self-employed person only has documents in the file that are valid.
We attach great importance to the people with whom and for whom we work. That is why we have a panel of experts and a panel of participants in order to make the experience and opinion of the interested party of Mijn Keurmerk part of our further professionalization of the quality mark.
